Meeker consistently offered a wide variety of activities and clubs ranging from student leadership to dance to science experiments. The number of activities offered consistently grew from Years 1-3. Through their partnership with After School All Stars (ASAS), ASAS supported the majority of activities in Years 2-4. Kent Parks and Recreation and Glover Empowerment Mentoring (GEM) also provided consistent partnership across the years. While there were fewer activities at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, activity offerings expanded in Year 5 (2020-21), with a focus on personal interests such as creative arts or sports and fitness.
Mill Creek also offered an abundance of activities ranging from student interests, culture clubs, sports, arts, and sciences. These offerings grew in Years 2 (2017-18) and 3 (2018-19) with new opportunities and those that continued over multiple years, particularly related to cultural background or personal interest (ex. gaming, Japan club). There were broader activities, such as sports and fitness or arts and crafts, during the COVID-19 pandemic, but more specialized offerings returned in Year 5 (2020-21) with the start of several new clubs and the return of some pre-pandemic activities.
