Activities for Students and Families
Program offerings included student and family activities, throughout the summer, fall and spring sessions. Staff incorporated student experience and perspectives to inform activities, projects, and discussions. The Meeker site coordinator shares that,
“We elevated program quality by assessing areas needing support and improvement by including virtual programs requested by students, providing additional partnerships and program staff, and also by continuing to provide daily support during school day.”
Additionally, families are engaged through family events and are encouraged to engage in the afterschool program activities with their students. As the Mill Creek Site coordinator shares, “We had a family cooking night in December, and it was so great to see students and their families enjoying their time in doing an activity together. Many afterwards said they loved it and enjoyed spending time with their student.”
Student activities and family events are detailed in the tables below.
