Success For Each Child & Eliminate the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity

Community Partnerships

The program aims to develop relationships with a variety of community partners for the 21st CCLC program, with the following objective:

  • Each 21st CCLC program site will add one partnership each year that reflects the population(s) served at each school.

During the 2022-23 year, each 21st CCLC site exceeded this objective. In addition to their initial partnership with each of the school sites through the Kent School District, each site was able to secure two external community partners. A common partner shared among all three sites is Kents Parks and Recreation.

One particular partnership worth highlighting is River Ridge’s collaboration with RISE World Relief. RISE World Relief aims to provide additional support and programming for refugee and immigrant students at River Ridge. (Additional data available)
