Regular Attendees

The program’s objective for regular attendance is to have at least 10% of the total school population regularly attend program. Of those regular attendees, at least 60% would attend program for 60 days or more.

During the 2024-25 program year, Mill Creek had 354 program participants, which is 41% of the total school population (863); 75 students attended 30 days or more, which is 9% of the total school population. Neely-O’Brien enrolled 30 program participants, which is 6% of the total school population (475); all 30 students attended 30 days or more. River Ridge enrolled 104 program participants, or 15% of the total school population (698); 53 students attended 30 days or more, which is 8% of the total school population. All sites did not meet the objective of 10% of total school population attending program regularly.

However, all sites increased the percentage of participants who were regular attendees in 2024-25 and the overall increase for the Kent Community Success program was from 18% in 2023-24 to 32% in 2024-25. Neely O’Brien had a significant increase from 2023-24 in the percentage of participants who were regular attendees (from 27% in 2023-24 to 100% in 2024-25). River Ridge and Mill Creek also had increases in participants who were regular attendees. At River Ridge, regular attendees increased from 41% in 2023-24 to 51% in 2024-25. Only Neely-O’Brien met the objective that at least 60% of regular attendees will attend program for 60 days or more. Among regular attendees, the rates in which participants attended program for 60 days or more are as follows:

  • For the program (Cohort 18), 57% (90 of 158) of regular attendees attended program for 60 days or more.
  • 90% (27 of 30) of regular attendees at Neely-O’Brien attended program for 60 or more days.
  • 58% (31 of 53) of regular attendees at River Ridge attended program for 60 or more days.
  • 43% (32 of 75) of regular attendees at Mill Creek attended program for 60 or more days.
